Pub Payments rolls out Australia’s largest common on premise redemption platform to venues around the nation

MELBOURNE, VICTORIA – Monday 27th June 2016 – Today Pub Payments will commence the rollout of its network into thousands of on premise venues around Australia.

Pub Payments Terminals will be provided to thousands of venues at no cost to be used by participating venues and will provide the capability for venues to sell prepaid products, while also facilitating and redeeming promotional offers for brands for our famous Promotional Partner brands.

Pub Payments has attracted interest from a number of prominent brands to enable promotions which simplify the consumer experience when engaging with brand activity.

Some of Australia’s favourite beers including Tooheys, XXXX, Hahn, James Squire, James Boags, Little Creatures and more will have the rights to promote their brands through the Pub Payments platform over the coming 12 months.

The Pub Payments Terminal allows venues to sell a variety of prepaid products – from mobile phone top-up vouchers for household telcos like Vodafone, Optus and Lyca Mobile, useful calling cards and prepaid internet services from operators like Virgin and Dodo, through to prepaid gaming credit for use on services like Microsoft Xbox, as well as other products and services.

The prepaid market in Australia is worth in excess of $3 billion annually, with many people opting to choose prepaid over postpaid contracts for their mobile, internet and entertainment needs to help them keep on top of their personal expenses and now our Participating Venues can generate revenue from selling these products to their customers.
